Explorac 100 – Reverse circulation drilling rigs
The Atlas Copco Explorac 100 is a crawler-mounted rig, designed specifically for reverse circulation drilling. Its compact
design makes it easy to move around in the field. The rig is designed for drilling depths of 100–200 m, and has a lifting
capacity of 10.5 tons.
Safety
The Explorac 100 comes delivered with a productive rod handler as standard, including a magazine for 30 pipes, which
enables totally hands-free loading, unloading and stacking of drill pipes. A mechanized breakout table with two spanners
is standard. The operator’s panel is strategically placed on a tripod or carried on the operator’s shoulder.
Environment
The fully enclosed Tier III Cummins power pack ensures low emissions and a very low noise level. Oil drainage is conveniently
designed, reducing spillage.
General
The Explorac 100 has a simple and rugged design, which makes it reliable as well as easy to operate. The rig can work
with air pressures up to 35 bars. Add as option one of Atlas Copco’s many DrillAir™ portable air compressors (see separate
